Drive-In
After the diner, I thought I'd continue the Americana theme and draw up the other great 60's stalwhart, the Drive-In. This one's been abandoned for some time, though, and has fallen into disrepair.

And now for something completely different.
The Royal Society of Arts, modelled on the Royal Dublin Society (yes, that RDS) host a series of lectures which are really quite interesting. They also illustrate some of the lectures and it adds this whole new level to them. Below is one on 21st Century Enlightenment. A really interesting talk on who we are and where we aspire to be. Even if you're not interested in the message, the illustration is beautiful, and well worth checking out.

Diner
It's been a while... well, about 8 years, since I drew a background. So I figured I'd give it a stab, just for the craic. Had no intention of tying it to the last drawing I posted, the waitress. But about half-way through, I noticed they tied together! Serendipidous!
